Camping: There are a few spots near the county roads that are used for camping.
Base Camp: This would be a good area to base camp and explore the Wolford Mountain OHV area.
Fall Colors: Poor - No aspen. Some aspen on Wolford Mountain
Navigation: South end start
From Kremmling CO. head east on Park Ave toward 6th Street for 1.1 miles. Turn left onto 22nd Street and go 1.0 mile. Continue onto County Hwy 22 and go 2.5 miles. Turn left onto BLM29500 and go 2.2 miles. Turn right or go straight ahead to begin BLM29516.

North end start
From Kremmling CO head east on Park Ave toward 6th Street for 1.1 miles. Turn left onto 22nd Street and go 1.0 mile. Continue onto County Hwy 22 and go 4.9 miles. Turn left onto County Hwy 25 and go 0.9 miles. Sharp left onto County Hwy 224 and go 1.7 miles. Turn left to start BLM29516.

Description:
Starting from the south side you will be at an intersection below a steep hill. The road that goes straight up the hill is BLM29516. The road that heads west, BLM29517, will climb up the same hill but will make a switchback to reduce the grade, and then connect in with BLM29516 at the top of the hill. The road you drove to get to this spot is Wolford Mountain OHV1, BLM29500.

Once your at the top of the steep hill head north, which is BLM29516, along the top of this wide flat hill. The road will run along the east side of the hill. You will pass a motorcycle trail coming into the road on the right that goes down over the edge.

The road will head northwest and come to another intersection. The road to the left is BLM29515, which goes down a wash along the west side of the flat area. Stay right and you will come to another intersection with County Road 224. A left on County Road 224 will take you back to Kremmling.
