Camping: There are a few dispersed camp sites.
Base Camp: This would be a good area to base camp and explore the other Forest Service roads in the area. There is quick access to South Fork.
Fall Colors: Poor - The upper section is in pine forest.
Navigation: From South Fork, CO. head west on US-160 W for 1.4 miles. Turn left toward Beaver Creek Road and go 315 ft. Continue onto Beaver Creek Road for 3.8 miles. Continue onto Forest Service Road 360 for 3.7 miles. Turn left onto the Cross Creek 4WD road.

Cross Creek 4WD road runs along Cross Creek just past Beaver Creek Reservoir. I have not driven the lower section of Cross Creek.

From the intersection with Willow Creek, FR350, Cross Creek is a wide graded road. At its southern end it becomes a two track and crosses a fence line before dropping down a switchback into a small valley where cows are grazed.

After it crosses a meadow below Hogback Mesa South the road will head back into the forest. You will head south and then climb up to the north to connect with the West Pinos, FR332, road.
