Description:
Note: I have not driven this road. The following description is based on Google Earth.

The Loveland 4WD road begins off of the Tabor, FR192, road. The road will head up the ridge through some pines and quickly come out above timberline. You will drive three switchbacks and come to a sweeping curve with views up Buckskin Creek toward Kite Lake. The road will become a narrower two track that has seen less travel. You will come to an intersection. The right is a shortcut road that is not on the MVUM. The left is the correct road. You will now head across open tundra and climb four switchbacks. The short cut road will cut across these switchbacks. Near some tailing piles you will come to another intersection. The road on the right is FR451, which goes a short distance over to the edge of the ridge to some more mine tailings. The left, which is the continuation of FR450, is an even fainter two track. You will follow FR451 higher up on the ridge heading for the same edge. The road will cross over the ridge and end at another tailings pile. From here you will also have views to the west following Buckskin Creek.
