From Walden, CO. head south on Main Street toward Van Horn Ave for 0.2 miles. Turn right onto Colorado Hwy 125 SouthMain Street and continue to follow Colorado Hwy 125 South for 23.8 miles. Turn left onto County Rd 21I and go 0.6 miles. Continue straight onto County Rd 21 for 5.9 miles. Take the right hand turn onto Park Ditch, FR 769, road.

| Park Ditch, FR769, is a short spur road that runs through an open meadow to a raised area along the edge of the Illinois River. The road runs along this short embankment for less than a half mile before ending at the public lands boundary.
