History:
Description:
Starting at the north end off of Jackson County road 6B, FR80, you will head south along a side channel of Beaver Creek on a graded road. At the first wide curve you will pass a spur road on the right, FR680, which is about a quarter mile. Continuing left you will head through the forest and drop down close to the main channel of Beaver Creek. Here you will pass Twisty Beaver, FR689, on the left. There is also a campsite here near the creek. Staying right the road will be a bit narrower as it changes to CR 3A and follows along the north side of a wide marshy area of Beaver Creek. After about a mile and a half from the intersection with FR689 you will come to the large loop at the end of the road where the Beaver Creek trailhead is. There are a few campsites around the loop. Off of the east side of the loop FR681.1A goes a half mile along a small penisula into the marshy part of Beaver Creek. Along this road are four campsites. From here you head back the way you came.
